We are one of the leading manufacturers of dry ice plants. Its a solid form of carbon dioxide, CO2, which finds its largest application as a cooling agent in the transportation of perishables. It is nontoxic and noncorrosive and sublimes directly from a solid to a gas, leaving no residue. At atmospheric pressure it sublimes at -109.6°F (-78.7°C). Slabs of dry ice can easily be cut and used in shipping containers for frozen foods, in refrigerated trucks, and as a supplemental cooling agent in refrigerator cars.

Dry Ice Machines
SS Foundry Chemical Industries Pvt. Ltd. is a reputed manufacturer of different types of dry ice machines for various applications. We are well versed in supplying machines with cylindrical blocks or with rectangular blocks. Available block size is 5" dia x 12" length and about 7-8 kg in weight. The Dry Ice Plants sizes are ranged from 45 kg/hr to 300 kg/hr are ready to meet the demand of the customer. If one needs the Dry ice machines which makes small size blocks/nuggets of 1.0" - 1.5" are also available in our production unit.

Even for minimum requirement, we can offer a less inexpensive gadget which makes Dry Ice from CO2 cylinder. Though, making of Dry Ice is slow at the rate of 5-10 kg/hr in comparison to dry ice obtained form the regular but the "block" is not firm and efficiency is less as compared to dry ice obtained from regular CO2 plants, yet its worthy at small scale.

We have also specialization in supplying machines to cut blocks, machines to put/spray dry ice on continuous conveyor belts of food/medicine for filling CO2 in food/medicine/chemical packages if needed. Special freezer for temperature as low as -45°C is readily available to fulfill the requirement.

Storage & Handling of Dry Ice
Storage of Dry Ice should be done properly. Store Dry Ice in an insulated container. The thicker the insulation, the slower it will sublimate. Do not store Dry Ice in a completely airtight container. The sublimation of Dry Ice to Carbon Dioxide gas will cause any airtight container to expand or possibly explode. Keep proper air ventilation wherever Dry Ice is stored.


We are at the forefront in manufacturing FRP-Polyurethane insulated boxes. Canvas bags with polyurethane sheets for storage of dry ice is also manufactured. To keep the Dry Ice for longer time with minimal evaporation is the specialty of these products.
